At the age of 21, I started my dog grooming business driven by my deep love and passion for dogs. From a young age, I have always been captivated by their unique personalities and unwavering loyalty, prompting me to turn my passion into a fulfilling career where I can provide top-notch grooming services to our beloved canine companions. This venture has not only allowed me to follow my dreams but has also brought me immense joy and fulfillment in working with these wonderful animals every day. 

A short story about my journey and how I got here. I started grooming at Petsmart when I was 18. I bathed 250 dogs before I even picked up a pair of scissors. Before learning how to bathe all the different breed types, I had to take over 200 safety courses. These courses included tests and hands on exams. After 6 months I completed that work and moved onto grooming. Before I could get my certification, I had to groom another 250 dogs. While learning the basics of grooming, I also had to learn the breeds standard cuts (poodle, schnauzer, westie, etc.) Shortly after completing the 250 grooms, I met a girl. Julia was the owner of LoveBug Mobile Grooming. She serviced clients all over Westchester County. She too, built her business up all on her own, providing an incredibly outstanding grooming service. Her love for all animals was indescribable, so when she asked me to come work for her, I felt honored and of course said yes. Julia showed me the love and passion of dog grooming that Petsmart never did. I learned so much from her every single day. One thing she reminded me of everyday is that a good groomer is hard to find. She never had to say that to me, I learned that just from watching her. I've met many groomers in the industries and none of them had the love and passion she did. I worked for Julia two months before she unexpectedly passed away. We all tried to keep it running but it wasn't the same without her. After her passing, her family decided it was best to close her business.  Because of her, I built the courage to take over Doos 4

If you stop by my shop, you will be happy to meet myself and Suzanne. Suzanne I've known since I've worked at Petsmart. She is loving, bubbly, and kind hearted. I can't forget to mention, she is a die hard dog fan. I've seen her calm anxious dogs and have them wrapped around her finger. I've seen dogs come in that can't sit still and her energy just captivates them, putting them into a calm trans. Like myself, she has a way with dogs. She also is a doodle expert!!
